MOBILE SECURITY PATROLS

Our uniformed Mobile Security Officers in a fleet of marked vehicles carry out our Mobile Security Patrol service, providing cover throughout the night and 24 hour cover during weekends and all public holidays. Officers are issued with keys for customer premises and carry out an agreed number of inspections on each site at random intervals throughout each shift.
Our Mobile Security Patrol service is designed to meet individual client requirements, but because the cost is shared by a number of customers in a patrol area, it offers an affordable and effective alternative to a full time security presence.
Whilst crime prevention and security are the major reasons for using GSD Security’s Mobile Security Patrol service, in truth the service offers much more.
Visiting premises outside of working hours, our officers can perform a variety of good housekeeping tasks aimed at preventing or reducing loss and waste. Our officers can also liaise with cleaning companies, maintenance staff or other contractors to allow and supervise site access for essential out of hour’s works.
To achieve this, our officers’ checks may include:
Closing windows or other potential access points
Switching off lights or equipment
Reporting obstructed fire exits
Reporting defective security devices: locks, fences etc
Setting & un-setting of alarms
Checking for potential fire hazards

Prior to the commencement of each assignment precise service instructions are raised and mutually agreed, which outline vulnerable areas and detail security officers duties to effect protection of our clients’ premises and contents.

We can also use an electronic mobile patrol wand which logs the exact time of each check made on your premises so that if you should so wish, you could have a detailed printout of when your premises were checked.
